That simple idea forged a nation far greater than the sum of its parts, a living experiment where individuals could rise beyond their origins. This country was founded on Christian principles. The Declaration of Independence speaks plainly of rights endowed by the Creator, of Nature’s God, and of divine Providence guiding human affairs. The founders knew that morality and faith formed the unseen bedrock for self-government. Biblical ideas of human dignity, justice, equality before the law, and moral restraint shaped their vision and gave the republic its enduring power. Real strength has always emerged from that deeper alignment, not from multiplying differences. When people share a common purpose rooted in truth, even the most varied voices can create something timeless and strong.”
