BC BIERMANN [HVY]: MURALS AND DIGITAL ART INSTALLATIONS

COMMISSIONED WORKS

2011 - present

HVY has spent the past decade creating public space murals and also pioneering the outdoor augmented reality street art mural, allowing for new dialogues between citizens and their spaces. By integrating technology into traditional street art, HVY has created a new medium for public engagement and expression. The use of augmented reality allows viewers to interact with the mural in ways that were previously impossible, adding a new dimension to the viewing experience and fostering a deeper connection between the viewer and the artwork. HVY has also created the world's first sculptures that are made interactive through mobile AR. This innovation allows the sculptures to come to life, adding a new level of engagement and interactivity. By using mobile AR, HVY has made it possible for viewers to see the sculptures in a new way, providing a deeper understanding of the artwork and encouraging a more meaningful dialogue between the viewer and the sculpture. In this way, HVY has pushed the boundaries of what is possible in public art, creating new opportunities for citizens to engage with their spaces and each other.
